Coached by Lisa Kelly, Georgia Competitive Shooters finishes the season with an impressive 9 - 1 record, a second place finish in the regular season Champions Division, and the League Tournament title.

In the championship game Georgia Competitive Shooters was led by Jared Eddy who shot a 395. The remaining contributing members were Molly McGhin, Addy Burrow, Veronica Stanley, and Sawyer Williams. Georgia Competitive Shooters is from Griffin, GA.

Jared Eddy wins the Most Value Player award. In the three games in the tournament he shot a 386 in the first round, a 389 in the semi-finals, and an outstanding 395 in the championship game.

The post-season tournament is for the top eight teams in the National Air Rifle Precision League. Sponsored by the Orion Scoring System, the league is a national team league for high school teams and junior rifle clubs. The league has two parts. An 8 week round-robin regular season that concluded in November. Followed by a single-elimination tournament, going on now, for the top eight teams who will compete for the league championship.

In each game the teams compete in what is known as a Standing Air Rifle match. The match is almost identical to the air rifle events in the Olympic Games. Each athlete shoots 40 shots in the standing position, the most difficult position in rifle competitions. Each shot is worth a maximum of 10 points. The sum of points scored in the 40 shots is the athlete's total. The team score is comprised of the best four athletes from each team.
