Carroll County Guns-n-Clovers defeats Humboldt Sharpshooters
Carroll County Guns-n-Clovers defeated Humboldt Sharpshooters 1891 to 1890 in the BB Gun League Post-Season Tournament, continuing on to the final round where they will face Walton County 4-H. Carroll County Guns-n-Clovers was led by Thomas Harris who shot a 384. The remaining contributing members were Collin Grubbs, Morgan Frank, Patrick Jennings, and Maddi Boggs. Carroll County Guns-n-Clovers is from Bowden, GA, and is coached by Scott Carroll.
Humbolt Sharpshooters finished the season with a 6 - 2 record and a second place finish in the regular season’s Championship Division. With their success this year, they are again guaranteed a spot in the Champions Division next season. Humboldt Sharpshooters was led by Eli Dissing who shot a 385. The remaining contributing members were Callie Ivey, Annastasia Galpin, Cian McMillin, and Julia Ivey. Humboldt Sharpshooters is from Hartford, SD, and is coached by Harley Galpin.
This match comes from the semi-final round of the Orion National BB Gun League post-season tournament. After an eight week regular season, where teams from across the country competed in a round robin win-loss league format, the top four teams were invited to the post-season. The winners of the semi-final round will advance to the championship game, starting April 11.
