These two teams were competing in the Precision Champions Conference of the National Air Rifle League. Sponsored by the Orion Scoring System, the league is a national team league for high school teams and junior rifle clubs. The league has two parts. An 8 week regular season, followed by this single elimination tournament that includes the top 8 teams from the regular season.

In each game the teams compete in what is known as a 60 Shot Standing Air Rifle match. The match is modeled after Olympic Rifle competitions. Each athlete will shoot 60 shots in the standing position. Each shot is worth a maximum of 10.9 points. The sum of points scored in the 60 shots is the athlete's total. The team score is comprised of the best four athletes from each team.

The Precision Champions Division Title Game has Granbury MCJROTC facing off against Lafayette Gun Club during the week of 13-19 Dec 2021.
